Nerdle

Nerdle is a more math and challenging version of the already popular Wordle game. The game allows you to solve the eight-hidden character calculation using numbers and arithmetic formulas in just six tries (up to).

To solve the Nerdle puzzle, you must arrange a sequence of numbers logically so that your final equation makes sense. You can't throw numbers and calculations at random without thinking (primary catch!). Usually, out of eight cells, five contain numbers while the other three contain symbols to guess the correct equation.

How to play

You can start playing this game with an empty tile, then based on your guess, one of these three colored tiles will appear with the following meaning:

  • Green Tile – Appears when you enter the correct number or symbol in the correct place.
  • Purple Tile – Appears when the number/symbol you entered appears in the calculation but is misplaced.
  • Black Tile – Appears when you enter a wrong number or a symbol that is not in the puzzle at all.

Tip of Nerdle

To eliminate equations that are wrong on the first few guesses, think of a calculation that includes both minus and plus signs (or division followed by multiplication).
