Phordle
Phordle is a word guessing game that only uses words about Phish. That makes the game harder and adds a new level of trickiness, of course. This is a good alternative to Wordle if you want to change it up but still use it the same way.
How to play Phordle
A quick rundown of the rules:
- You have six chances to guess the five-letter word of the day.
- Each guess must be a word from the dictionary (only Phish-related words in Phordle; every five letter word in Wordle).
- If you correctly guess a letter from the target word, it will turn green.
- If you guess a letter from the target word but place it incorrectly, it will be highlighted in yellow.
- If you guess a letter that isn't in the target word, it will be gray. Words with multiples of the same letter are allowed.
My current strategy for regular Wordle is to start with SAUTE and then, depending on how many letters I get, try IRONY (thus eliminating AEIOUY + NSRT in my first two guesses).
