Not every possible color-block pattern is possible in every game of DeWordle. However, there are 1933 possible alternatives to in the game.
There is just enough variation in what guess patterns are possible for each answer that DeWordle can determine the correct answer by narrowing the list of possible answers to only those that can generate every pattern entered into the board.
